Integrated Movement Therapy (IMT) is an experiential and clinical yoga-based therapy for all ages. IMT sessions are highly individualized to meet the unique needs of each client. IMT can be beneficial to anyone seeking support for the challenges of life, which may include chronic or acute illness, anxiety, grief, neurological disorders, autism, infertility, and myriad stressors. I firmly believe that our bodies are meant to move, and that need for physicality can easily get lost in our computer-based, desk-sitting, often pain-ridden culture. I specialize in providing trauma sensitive sessions with adults with chronic pain, and pre- and post-operative maintenance and recovery. I love supporting folks who are curious about starting a physical movement practice and seeking a friendly, accessible way to begin.

  • Sessions with adults are generally 75 minutes long and include some talking, movement (often yoga poses), and Thai yoga technique.
  • Sessions with kids or teens are 45-60 minutes long and consist of yoga-based games and activities that build skills through engagement and fun.
  • Every session ends with a short rest period known as shavasana, which is traditionally included in general yoga classes and provides students with time to integrate the day's activities and recharge.
