Integrated Movement Therapy (IMT)
I firmly believe that our bodies are meant to move, and that need for physicality can easily get lost in our computer-based, desk-sitting, often pain-ridden culture. I specialize in providing trauma sensitive sessions with adults with neurological conditions. I love supporting folks who are curious about starting a physical movement practice and seeking a friendly, accessible way to begin.
A typical IMT session is 75 minutes long and can include talking, movement, massage, meditation, and relaxation (similar to the end of a yoga class). We discuss your issues, goals, and desires at length and design your sessions around your unique needs. IMT is for you if you want support in figuring out what type of movement practice is best for you!
